The British should never be allowed to forget what they did to Europe. That they rather live in fag finance world than learn some German is an indictment on their political existence as currently constituted.

I'm not sure what exactly estranged the English elite class from their people and Europe, whether it was the Norman conquests, geopolitical realities, or something else, but in my estimation they are our ops as much as anyone else.

I suppose they aren't an existential enemy, but unless they can be made to humble themselves they will need to be humbled. They can be happy being a lesser European country, bringing a total end to their conniving against the continent, or not be sovereign at all.

Great point made at the end about artwork being saved. George Clooney made a gay propaganda movie about this called "Monuments Men" a US military unit saves art work from the evil Nazi's. LOL

Almost unbelievable how bad and ill-informed this was. Basic errors of research and ignorance of easily-established facts. Everything from the political appetite in Britain for war and the centuries-long foreign policy underpinning it to the Allied strategy of the ‘Sitzkrieg’ to the reasoning behind the ‘Panzer halt’ order. I had to turn it off after that.

These aren’t matters of opinion or the result of some shadowy conspiracy - you can go the archives and read the handwritten minutes of the meetings, there are dozens of memoirs, opinion polling, sworn testimony. The evidence on these topics is endless. It’s like you guys decided “we’re not actually going to learn anything about this, we’re just going to pretend evidence doesn’t exist and fabricate our own narrative out of whole cloth”. It legitimately gives revisionism a bad name.

But no worries, I won’t be listening to more so you can say whatever you like without fear of another nasty comment. No doubt you two will have *very* insightful and accurate takes on the Ostfront.
