Hans I was hoping to hear you elaborate on why you are so confident in there being a significant weapons shortage in the coming decade?

Also; in response to the segment of the show where the question is raised "why aren't people having kids?" I can offer some anecdotes. I (we) were raised in an era of nihilism and self indulgence stemming from MGTOW, (((the media))) making a family seem like a burden, the all important "individualism", etc. By the time the programming broke and the redpill kicked in, it was late 20's/early 30's and that was essentially a starting over point both spiritually, emotionally, socially, and to some degree financially (career). Being late to the game is in no way insurmountable, however i've found that by far the biggest problem is that everything is so fucking expensive (specifically housing).

>Finally find suitable wife who is not a vaxxed out NPC whore

>Want to get a starter home to begin a family

>Average mortgage is 60-75% monthly income

>-_-

Maybe we should just shitskin-maxx and start having children with reckless abandon and get the govt to pay for it(?). Because as much as i try to increase my earnings and decrease outflow, the numbers just aren't working and theres every indication they are going to get less favorable.

Tank turbine engines use plain old diesel. They can use JP4 or JP5 aircraft fuel. But JP4 @ 5 are nothing more than high grade diesel that has additives to prevent it from freezing at high altitude, which makes it more expensive.

Why did you guys even make this episode when neither of you have a clue what you're talking about?

Is Adam being sincere here? Some of the stuff he's saying is so poorly reasoned it is as if he's playing devils advocate.

Also Lance being Mormon explains a lot.

Love the tangent on demographics and demographic decline.

This makes me think - why is recession such an unthinkable thing? I can see why it's bad if you're a banker and live off interest payments, but for the rest, surely a shrinking population and a shrinking economy can co-exist? Must it be growth at all costs?

Here in Australia, we're importing foreigners at an astounding rate just to keep our population growing, and our economy in the black. I wonder if, long or short terms, it is worth it.

Maybe some history or overview of the economics (and benefits?) of recession / deflation would be a topic worth considering?

You mixed up T80 and T90 at the start - T80 is the turbine powered one.

The 'simplicity and maintainability' of Russian equipment is not a given. For aircraft - feel free to compare the maintenance intervals of Russian and American turbine engines. Power plants in tanks - western vehicles usually feature a modular powerpack that is quick to replace on the field while engine change in a T-72 series is a good wrenching workout.

Big thing in this war - high tech (relatively) open source weapons platforms like autonomous suicide drones. Dysfunction in 'official' supply has forced the volunteers on both sides to design their weapons systems with the plans freely distributed on Telegram as DIY manuals. Obviously once published, such knowledge can travel far to many different hands.

Regarding the Su-57 vs. F-22: value has absolutely nothing to do with it; it’s about sustainable loss ratios.

Let's say the F-22 is three times as good as the Su-57 and when they go toe-to-toe 1 F-22 can take out up to 3 Sukhois-- if the Russians and the NATO forces can each build and train pilots for 100 new aircraft a month then this is a clear victory for NATO.

But if NATO can only commission 25 new aircraft per month, while the Russians can churn out 100, then it doesn't matter that the F-22 is a better aircraft, or that the NATO pilots are better trained, as Uncle Joe said, "Quantity has a quality all of it's own."

tl;dr what matters is:

* combat power ratio

* industrial capacity

I am happy to yield the superiority on item #1 to the Americans, but on the second point there's concerning news: https://www.csis.org/analysis/rebuilding-us-inventories-six-critical-systems
