Vivek - He delivered the most memorable moment in a lame debate season. This will not change donors’ minds, but he hit Haley so hard, who will be the raw masses to support her? (Boomers)
The FBI - No one is cutting their budget. It’s not going to happen. We have a closed system.
Russia - The ammo situation is rough for the Ukrainians so reports are all along the front of incremental gains by the Russians.
Losers
Ukrainians - It is dawning on them that they were sold a bill of goods by the West. Only took eighteen months. Defending one’s homeland is honorable. Their leadership should have taken the early peace offer.
Zelensky - Politicians are voicing displeasure, so either he silences them or the noise will grow.
US Consumers - New reports are that credit growth has slowed and the layoff announcements continue.

Why should anyone prepare for Riot season beyond being personally “prepared”?

The people elected a government to do their bidding. It was the people’s wishes to have Civil Rights. As has been explicitly stated many times, violence, rioting, mayhem are just “expression”. It’s “Speech.”
“Riot season” Sir is covered under the 13th and 14th Amendments codicils to the first amendment freedom of assembly. As to peaceful assembly; you can have peace, or you can have diversity.
Not both.
The people chose diversity.
Clearly, overwhelmingly.
Let the people live with the consequences of their decision.
The American people aren’t children. They know all this, so do you. How dare anyone ask another to risk jail to keep order?
