The motion picture industry is a gigantic money laundering scheme. I went to grad school @ USC. My old roommate married & raised a family. One of his daughters graduated cum laude from the USC film school 5 years ago. She has never worked in the industry. All of the jobs are spread out across the US because of government subsidies. Georgia alone gives $5 billion to have movies made in Ga. Do you suppose the film company execs kick some of that money back in political contributions? I refuse to buy movie tickets because they took it out of me in taxes already.
David Cole has the big picture but it is behind a paywall now.
Imagine casting a black woman as a role in a movie other than a single mother screwing a drug dealer.

Does it take more than a pulse to get a high school diploma anymore?
Enjoy it while it lasts, gentlemen. The propaganda we’ll have to sort for is only going to get more subtle (and less funny) from here on out.
OMG I thought this was a prank meme , it’s real.
“Hey I’m watching G20. Check it out now on Prime Video!“
I guess if it helps them cope...
Even aside from the girl boss nonsense, modern action movies suck because unlike, say, Die Hard, the hero doesn't get fucked up
